Popular Competition Event Calendars
- Types of popular competitions amongst BARC members include dressage, eventing, show jumping, endurance riding, obstacles and combined training events.
- Other types of competitions members are involved in include sport horse activities (such as games and barrel racing), and trail riding events.
- BARC membership automatically includes access to qualify and compete in HRCAV competitions and their incentive programs (scroll down for more dets on this).
- Many other equestrian associations and their affiliate clubs also hold events/competitions which may interest you. These events may require additional membership and/or have options for 'non membership' ('open') categories which provides you with an opportunity to explore other types of competition.

HRCAV Competition
BARC membership automatically includes access to compete in HRCAV competitions (as a HRCAV member) and their incentive programs:
- To find out when HRCAV events are taking place - go to the HRCAV Calendar of Events.
- Before signing up to compete in a HRCAV competition or event, refer to the HRCAV Competition page for everything you need to know.
- The HRCAV Leader Board tallies up members and clubs competition results over the year with awards handed out at the end of each year. This is always and exciting time and can be a big incentive for competition.
- The HRCAV hold the annual Top Teams Trophy (TTT) Events (equivalent to State Championships) in each discipline of Showing, Dressage, Show Jumping, Horse Trials, Combined Training and Navigation Rides.
- Clubs compete in teams of 3 or 4 riders.
- TTT events are prestigious within the HRCAV with the Horse Trials being one of the largest.
- Details of TTT events can be found in the HRCAV Calendar of Events.
- The BARC subsidise TTT entry for its members.
- A BARC club uniform is required to be worn if competing at a HRCAV event. The uniform is either a branded polo top or club vest.
BARC Club Uniform
- The standard club uniform can be teamed up with a branded saddle blanket and accessories if desired.
- Branded saddle blankets are ordered periodically - Contact Us to find out if there are any in stock.
- Keep an eye out on the club Facebook page for second hand uniforms or saddle blankets.
- Alternatively please order and purchase a BARC polo top directly from One Stop Embroidery in Sunbury.
