to the Bullengarook Adult Riding Club
The Bullengarook Adult Riding Club (BARC) has a membership of around 70 riders, and is based at the Bullengarook Equestrian Facility in the Macedon Ranges (60 kilometres north west of Melbourne), just ten minutes down the road from Gisborne.
Our club is a member of the Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria (HRCAV) which has a club membership of around 200 clubs and over 5000 members, including members in southern New South Wales.
Our Rallies are typically held on the second Saturday of the month but please refer to our Rally Details for any exceptions to this rule and more information about what we do.
We are constantly improving the Bullengarook Equestrian Facility which is located at the Bullengarook Recreation Reserve that we share and maintain with the Bullengarook Pony Club (BPC) for the benefit of the local equestrian community. The facility includes a large dressage arena space, show jumping area and cross country training fences nestled in a bush setting. In 2023, new fencing was installed around our large sand arenas to improve safety in a joint project between the Bullengarook Recreation Reserve Management Committee, the Macedon Ranges Shire Council, the BARC and the BPC.
We welcome new members, so if you are interested in becoming a BARC member feel free to pop down to the club grounds on a Rally day, contact us for more information and/or stay up to date with the latest information by following our Facebook page.
